Thank you to everyone who joined our recent informational meeting for Thrive2: United for Democracy and Global Action. We appreciated the opportunity to share the vision for the event, answer questions, and begin connecting with people who want to help strengthen democratic participation in their communities.
Thrive2 will bring together educators, librarians, nonprofit leaders, organizers, civic practitioners, community advocates, organizations, and everyday citizens who care about democracy and want practical ways to contribute.
Our central question is:
How can we help more people become informed, confident, connected, and active participants in democratic life?
Thrive2 is designed to move beyond awareness alone. We want participants to discover useful resources, build relationships, strengthen their civic confidence, and identify realistic actions they can take in their schools, organizations, networks, and communities.

Whether you already work in civic engagement or are simply looking for a meaningful place to begin, Thrive2 is intended to help you find practical tools, trusted resources, supportive connections, and realistic pathways for action.

We are looking for people and organizations with resources, strategies, programs, tools, stories, and practical solutions that can help others participate more fully in democratic life.
Presentations may be live or asynchronous, making it possible for contributors with different schedules, time zones, and levels of availability to participate.

We especially welcome practical, accessible, and action-oriented proposals that give participants something they can use, adapt, or act upon after the event.

Volunteers are helping us shape the program, recruit presenters and partners, promote the event, support participants, and bring the Thrive2 experience to life.
After submitting an application, volunteers will receive information about joining our regular weekly planning meetings.
