Our last THRIVE meeting was full of thoughtful conversation and great ideas. It’s inspiring to see this community come together to support one another and share solutions in these uncertain times. If you missed the discussion, you can catch up by checking out the meeting notes here.
A New Way to Share Resources
One of the things we talked about was making it easier to share practical tools, articles, and strategies. To help with that, we’ve set up a Notion database where you can both submit and explore resources:
Have something to share? Add it here: Submit a Resource
Looking for inspiration? Browse what’s already been shared: Resource Hub
Please take a look and let us know what you think. Based on your feedback, we can tweak things as we go.
Join Us for the Next Meeting!
Let’s keep this momentum going. Our next meeting is happening Thursday, February 27, at 6 PM Central Time. We’ll continue building on these conversations and explore ways to take action together.
Feel free to bring a friend—everyone is welcome!
A Big Shift in the Education Landscape
On a different note, some big changes are happening in the education world. The U.S. Department of Education recently canceled contracts for the Regional Educational Laboratories (RELs), including McREL, which shared a statement about the impact of this decision. These labs have played an important role in supporting schools, districts, and policymakers with research-based guidance. While we don’t have all the details yet, it’s likely that the other nine RELs are facing the same fate. This is something we’ll be keeping an eye on as it unfolds.
